Manila Water Total Solutions honored its partner-distributors and launched its latest product offering, the new Healthy Family MINI, during the Partners’ Day held on April 21 at the Elements at Eton Centris in Quezon City.

Manila Water was among the Filipino companies that signed a total of eleven memoranda of understanding (MOU) with Indonesian companies to increase trade and economic collaboration between the countries during the recently concluded Philippines- Indonesia Business Networking Session.

Manila Water is set to implement new standard water rates after the Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System Board of Trustees approved and confirmed the tariff adjustment in its Board Resolution No. 2017-036-RO dated April 5, 2017.

Manila Water has successfully completed its pilot project in Yangon City in Myanmar, significantly reducing levels of water system loss from more than 54 percent to 14 percent. In partnership with Mitsubishi Corporation and Yangon City Development Committee, the leading water service provider has fulfilled its promise to demonstrate its technical capabilities undertaking a pilot project and improving the water ways in selected areas.

Officials of Myanmar’s Yangon City, led by Mayor U Maung Maung Soe recently visited Philippines to witness how Manila Water successfully improved the provision of water and used water services to more than 6.3 million residents of the East Zone of Metro Manila and Rizal Province.
