Manila Water Foundation, the social development arm of Manila Water Company, recently led two onsite events to celebrate Global Handwashing Day (GHD). The first event was an anticipated celebration in San Juan City and on GHD itself, an event was held at the La Mesa Ecopark in Quezon City.

Clark Water, a subsidiary of Manila Water Non-East Zone arm Manila Water Philippine Ventures, recently celebrated 24 years of providing efficient and reliable water and wastewater services in the Clark Freeport Zone (CFZ) and Clark Special Economic Zone.

Manila Water is gearing up for the completion of pipelaying works for the mainline extension project at Sitio Tanza and Tolosa Ville in the province of Rizal. The project, which started in early 2024, is projected to expand its 24-hour water supply service benefiting an additional 4,000 households or 24,000 residents in Antipolo City.

This renewable energy expansion is a vital step in the company's strategy to lower its carbon footprint while ensuring sustainable water services for its customers, in support of the National Energy Efficiency and Conservation Plan (NEECP) of the Department of Energy (DOE) and the government’s goal towards energy sufficiency whilst promoting sustainability.
