Manila Water Philippine Ventures, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Manila Water Company, Inc. recently inked a 25-year lease agreement with the Philippine Economic Authority (PEZA) to provide water and used water services to Cavite Special Economic Zone.

Manila Water Asia Pacific, the wholly-owned subsidiary of Manila Water Company, Inc. recently signed an agreement to fund the construction and development of a micro-library in Bandung City, Indonesia, in support of the latter’s literacy program.

Manila Water will implement a 2.8% Consumer Price Index adjustment on the 2017 basic charge effective January 1, 2018 following the approval and confirmation of the new rates by the MWSS Regulatory Office as contained in its Resolution No. 2017-08-CA dated October 18, 2017 and the MWSS Board of Trustees as contained in the Resolution No. 2017-140-RO dated October 26, 2017. 

Clark Water Corporation (CWC) recently led a recognition program to celebrate its award as one of the ‘Top Community Care Companies in Asia’ in the Asia Corporate Excellence and Sustainability (ACES) Awards for the project, “Ahon Pinoy in Sitio Monicayo: Uplifting Communities through Sustainable Water Access.” The award is given to companies who have implemented long-term sustainability programs that ultimately enriched the lives of communities while adhering to the mission and core business of the organization.  Clark Water was one of the handful of awardees out of the 193 entries received from 12 countries.

Laguna Water recently received its Radioactive Material License for Liquid Scintillation Counter and accompanying radioisotopes from the Philippine Nuclear Research Institute making it the first private institution to offer Radiological Analysis for Drinking Water.
