Boracay Water offers free sewer connection to residential customers

Manila Water Non-East Zone subsidiary Boracay Water has launched Project Monsoon, a program which aims to intensify efforts in strengthening sanitation and sustainability in the island of Boracay. Through Project Monsoon, Boracay Water will be providing free sewer connections for all its residential customers living within 60-100 meters from the nearest available sewer network.

Manila Water service connections climb to 1.163 million in Q2 2023

Manila Water continues to experience an upswing in service expansion as it racks up a total of 1,163,014 connections as of July 2023 since 1997. As of July 2023, the water company had successfully installed 16,728 new water connections. Of the total new connections, 16,175 are new domestic service connections, which is already 81% of the 2023 target. In the same period, there were 553 new commercial and industrial connections energized.
