Manila Water Foundation (MWF), the social development arm of Manila Water, in collaboration with Angat Buhay Foundation, led technical assistance sessions to Naga City in Camarines Sur to provide sustainable solutions to the city’s water supply challenges.

Effective 01 October 2024, the Foreign Currency Differential Adjustment (FCDA) is 2.03% of the basic charge or Php0.86 per cubic meter. Low-income households consuming 10 cubic meters a month or less will be exempt from the adjustment.

Section 8 of the Republic Act 8041 – National Water Crisis Act poses strict sanctions and penalties on pilferage of water meters, main lines, pipes and related or ancillary facilities; stealing of water for profit or resale; possession of stolen or tampered water meters; and the willful acceptance or tolerance of the said actions.

To further improve water supply in Calbayog City, Calbayog Water, a business unit under Manila Water Non-East Zone subsidiary Manila Water Philippine Ventures, recently inaugurated three (3) important infrastructure projects: the Pagbalican Pump Station and 1,500 cubic meter Reservoir Rehabilitation Project, the San Policarpo Booster Pump Station, and the San Policarpo-Pagbalican Transmission Line Project.
