Manila Water Foundation (MWF), the social development arm of Manila Water, has been at the forefront of driving positive change for communities and public institutions through programs for the environment and water access, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH). As a result, the foundation has been given awards and accolades, affirming its commitment to spreading its advocacy across various regions of the country to assist underserved communities.

Manila Water Foundation marks over a decade of leading events to celebrate Global Handwashing Day (GHD) by being a co-presenter of the City Government of Pasig recently celebrated its 450th anniversary.

Standing as a vanguard for the environment critical to life now and in the future, Manila Water once again armed itself with gloves, sacks, and boots to join this year’s International Coastal Cleanup (ICC) Day, held nationwide on September 16.

Sustainability remains at the core of Manila Water Company. As it marks 26 years of operations this year, the Company is on course with its sustainability targets, operating and delivering world-class facilities and services attuned and responsive to the needs of the communities and stakeholders it serves. As the first company in the country to produce a Sustainability Report, which has outlined its goals and performance since 2005, Manila Water continues to deliver on its commitments while being mindful of its social and environmental impact.

Manila Water Foundation (MWF) capped off the month-long list of water access, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH program) events in celebration of the 26th anniversary of Manila Water. A fitting close to the anniversary activities was the launch of projects for families in the Ipo Watershed in Norzagaray, Bulacan.
