Manila Water continues to pass the stringent requirements of the Department of Health’s (DOH) Philippine National Standards for Drinking Water (PNSDW) assuring its 7.6 million customers in the East Zone safe and potable water up to their meters.

Dubbed as LAKBAY KALIKASAN: EARTH DAY FUN RUN 2024, the event was held at the CDC Parade Grounds in Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga, and aimed to demonstrate support for environmental protection and leading a healthy and sustainable lifestyle.

Manila Water Philippine Ventures, a subsidiary of Manila Water catering to cities and municipalities outside of East Zone, has signed a share purchase agreement (SPA) with EquiParco Holdings Corporation (EPHC), Metropac Water Investments Corporation (MWIC), and TwinPeak Hydro Resources Corporation (THRC) for the sale and purchase of 70% shares in Equipacific HoldCo Inc. (EHI).

Manila Water has installed four purple hydrants utilizing reclaimed water in the East Zone of Metro Manila to augment its assistance to the Bureau of Fire Protection-National Capital Region (BFP-NCR).

As the country experiences one of the warmest summers brought about by El Niño, Manila Water ensures adequate water supply to hospitals and schools in its concession area. The water company is currently ensuring uninterrupted water supply to 173 public and 210 private hospitals, as well as to 916 public and 999 private schools in the East Zone of Metro Manila and Rizal Province.
