Taytay Muslim-Christian community gets individual water connections from Manila Water

As one of the highlights of its 20th anniversary, Manila Water recently held a groundbreaking ceremony for its Tubig Para Sa Barangay (TPSB) project for Purok 7 Bayview in Lupang Arenda, Taytay, Rizal. The Php 4 million project will provide individual water connections to over 450 households in the community.

Manila Water signs contract for the Php5.3B Novaliches-Balara Aqueduct 4 project

Manila Water recently held the ceremonial contract signing that signals the commencement of the landmark Novaliches-Balara Aqueduct 4 (NBAQ4) project. The Php5.3B NBAQ4 project, one of the largest water supply infrastructure projects undertaken by Manila Water, entails the construction of a fourth aqueduct from the La Mesa Reservoir to the Balara Treatment Plants (BTP) 1 and 2 to improve the reliability and security of the raw water transmission system.

Manila Water successfully replaces mainline at Parian Creek

Manila Water has successfully completed the replacement and relocation of a one-meter diameter mainline located at the Parian Creek in Barangay Kapasigan in Pasig City. The said mainline is part of the PG6 and Almeda transmission line that supplies water to barangays at the southeast end of the concession area, considered farthest from the Balara Treatment Plant. The mainline at this portion provides clean potable water to over 80,000 households in the cities of Pasig and Taguig and the municipality of Pateros.

Manila Water successfully tests its first waste-to-energy project

Manila Water Chairman Fernando Zobel de Ayala led the lighting ceremony for company’s pilot Waste-to-Energy (WTE) project recently at the South Septage Treatment Plant (SpTP) in Taguig City.
