Manila Water Philippine Ventures bags deal with San Fabian, Pangasinan

Manila Water Philippine Ventures has formally received a Notice to Proceed for a P742-million water supply and sanitation project in San Fabian, Pangasinan.

The Municipality of San Fabian enacted Ordinance No. 19, Series of 2018 granting the Manila Water subsidiary a franchise to establish, construct, operate, manage, repair and maintain the water supply system and facilities of the municipality.

San Fabian is located north east of Calasiao, the first municipality in Pangasinan that entered into a concession agreement with the company. 

Under the new deal, Manila Water Philippine Ventures sees to increase provision of water to 12.6 million liters per day by the end of its 25-year term franchise which will start in 2019.

The franchise will also include the provision to handle the town’s septage management.
