Manila Water consistently intensifies its campaign towards proper wastewater management in Metro Manila’s East Zone through its Used Water Master Plan. The target for the company in terms of used water services is full sewer and sanitation coverage of its entire concession area by 2037.

Manila Water Company, Inc.’s Metrology Center (MWMC) recently conducted an interlaboratory comparison with Sensus Laboratories in Germany to comply with the requirement of ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation, which necessitates MWMC to validate laboratory-developed methods.

The ASEAN Centre for Energy awarded Manila Water first runner up recognition for Energy Management – Building and Industries, Small and Medium Industry Category at the ASEAN Energy Awards 2018, held during the recent 36th ASEAN Ministers on Energy Meeting in Singapore. The ASEAN Energy Awards aims to recognize organizations in the ASEAN member states that demonstrate exemplary programs and projects that contributed to improvement in energy efficiency and performance.

Manila Water has finally covered the whole province of Rizal in its Toka Toka advocacy when it held a partnership seal signing with the provincial governor, mayors of the lone city of Antipolo and the municipalities of Jalajala, Baras, Tanay, Teresa, Cardona, Angono, Binangonan, Cainta, Rodriguez, San Mateo, Taytay, Morong, Pililia, as well as the Rizal Association of City/Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Officers (RACMENRO). The event was held on November 21 at Rizal Provincial Capitol in Antipolo City.

East Zone water and used water concessionaire Manila Water conducted back-to-back information campaigns on water conservation and used water management to 500 students in Pateros National High School and Pateros Catholic School.
