Driven to forge strategic synergies to support critical community services, the Manila Water Foundation recently handed over refrigerated drinking fountains (RDFs) to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) and its partners.

The handover is part of a wider partnership to support the brave firefighters and the communities that BFP serves.

The RDFs will be installed in the BFP Regional Office - National Capital Region, the selected school partner Ramon Magsaysay High School, and one of the fire stations in Quezon City. This initiative to provide refreshing and clean potable drinking water is expected to benefit more than 4,000 individuals.

Along with the RDFs, MWF and the Manila Water Quezon City Service Area also turned over boxes of Poten-Cee vitamin supplements from Pascual Laboratories.

NCR Regional Director Fire Chief Superintendent Nahum Tarroza and his leadership team received the donations during their flag ceremony. Tarroza expressed his gratitude for the donation provided by MWF, saying that this will be valuable support to the school community. He added that through the donations, the firefighters will be hydrated and enabled to fulfill their important community duties.

Manila Water Foundation remains committed to seeking strategic collaborations and supporting institutional partners through water access, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH).
