Manila Water lists 52 East Zone barangays for desludging this May

Manila Water is rolling out its desludging caravan to 52 East Zone barangays in Metro Manila and Rizal for septic tank siphoning in May. To inquire about the schedule, customers are advised to coordinate with their barangay offices or call Manila Water’s Customer Help Desk at 1627.

Manila Water is rolling out its desludging caravan to 52 East Zone barangays in Metro Manila and Rizal for septic tank siphoning in May. 

This coming May, the water concessionaire will preposition its desludging trucks to Barangays 763, 768, 771, 779, 784, 786, 787, 788, 789, 794, 797, 800, 801, 802, 805, 807, 809, 811, and 812 in the City of Manila; Bel Air, San Lorenzo, Pio del Pilar, South CEMBO, and Pitogo in Makati; and Pag-asa, Bagong Silang, Harapin ang Bukas, Mauway, Hagdang Bato Itaas, and Hagdang Bato Libis in Mandaluyong City. 

Quezon City customers can also expect the desludging service in May in barangays Bahay Toro, Botocan, Mariana, Socorro, Tagumpay, Teachers Village East, West Crame, Ugong Norte, and Vasra, as well as in Barangay Manggahan in Pasig City, Barangay Pinagsama in Taguig City, and Barangay Sta. Lucia in San Juan City.

Rizal customers in San Jose, San Roque, and Cupang in Antipolo City; San Juan in Taytay; San Vicente in Angono; San Carlos in Binangonan; Rosario, San Isidro, Burgos, and Manggahan in Montalban should also prep their septic tanks as desludging tanks will be arriving in May.

“We are also inviting our customers to join our Information, Education, and Communication campaigns to learn more about the benefits and how you can help promote community health and the environment through our desludging services,” Corporate Communications Affairs Group Director Jeric Sevilla said.

Part of the company’s desludging campaign is the Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) campaign, where Manila Water Advocacy Managers and Service Area representatives go to barangays to promote and teach the benefits of its desludging program. It has also become a venue for customers to reach out to the company to address their concerns and queries.
