NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Manila Water Company, Inc. (“Manila Water”), concessionaire of Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System (“MWSS”) providing water and sewerage services to the East Zone service area of Metro Manila and the Province of Rizal, will conduct a Public Hearing relative to its Application for Extension of its March 31, 2021 Revised Concession Agreement (“RCA”) with the MWSS. The application seeks the extension of the expiration date of the RCA from July 31, 2037 to July 31, 2047, to coincide with the term of Manila Water’s 25-year legislative franchise.

The Public Hearing will be held on November 9, 2023, 10:00 AM at the MWSS Multipurpose Hall in Quezon City and via Zoom Webinar Platform. Interested parties who wish to join the Public Hearing are hereby requested to register via this link https://bit.ly/MWC-RCA-PublicHearing or the QR code below. The Public Hearing will be livestreamed and be accessible to the public via the Facebook page of the MWSS Regulatory Office (MWSS RO).

Copies of the Manila Water’s Application for Extension and Position Paper are available and accessible via the MWSS RO website at http://bit.ly/MWCI-ApplicationForExtensionPositionPaper.
