Manila Water Foundation (MWF) is honored to be a SINAG Evolution 2022 awardee by BPI Foundation for its Social Enterprise Support Intervenors Program.

With the recent launch of its development initiative Project Katig, Manila Water Foundation and BPI Foundation led a Financial Wellness Workshop with the Cardona fisherfolk as part of its commitment as a SINAG Evolution 2022 awardee.

Fisherfolk listed to talks on Financial Investments, Savings Management, and Responsible Loans. The workshop is part of a series of capacity building activities for the community to solve community issues which includes livelihoods and the management of the water hyacinth - the biggest challenge in fishing.

To cap off the session, the attendees received personal care and hygiene items to keep families and the community healthy. Manila Water Foundation is grateful to the support from PHILUSA Corporation.
