Manila Water Corporate Communication Affairs Group Head Jeric Sevilla Jr. stressed the importance of availing of desludging services as it is beneficial to the environment and to the community.

“With regular septic tank desludging and maintenance every five to seven years, we help not just the environment but also the community. Whenever you have your septic tanks cleaned, all the wastewater collected from the septic vaults will undergo proper treatment before making its way to creeks, rivers and other waterways, thus reducing pollution. At the same time, you help the community by preventing the spread of waterborne diseases from overflowing septic tanks.” said Sevilla.

To avail of the siphoning service, residents of the said barangays can coordinate with their barangay officials or call the Manila Water Consumer Desk Hotline 1627 to verify the exact schedule.
