Manila Water continues to remind its customer to have their household septic tanks cleaned especially as the holiday season approaches.

“The month of December is one of the busiest months for us Filipinos. As we celebrate Christmas and look forward to the new year, we find ourselves getting into the festive spirit, spending time with our families and friends and might overlook essential household activities such as septic tank maintenance. With this, we advise our customers to prioritize desludging of their septic tanks before the festivities begin to ensure a seamless and enjoyable holiday,” says Jeric Sevilla, Manila Water Corporate Communication Affairs Group Director.

Through septic tank desludging, customers can prevent costly emergencies that can brought about by septic tank overflowing. Septic tank overflowing can cause water supply contamination, health hazards and property damage.

Customers can check with their respective barangay councils for the exact schedule of the visit of Manila Water’s desludging caravan in their areas or call the Manila Water Consumer Help Desk at 1627.
