Ang antas o lebel ng mga imbakan ng tubig o reservoirs ay unti-unti nang tumataas kaya’t simula ng nakapaghahatid ng tubig sa mga lubhang naapektuhang barangay bagamat mahinang pressure pa lamang ang nararanasan sa ibang mga lugar. Inaasahang unti-unting lalakas ang pressure sa mga susunod na araw habang ang mga imbakan o reservoirs ay napupuno upang makarating naman sa mga matataas at malalayong lugar.
Customers of east zone concessionaire Manila Water is experiencing the initial positive effect of the rotational water supply scheme which began last Thursday, March 14, 2019. Levels of various reservoirs have started to increase and water supply, though still at low pressure in some areas, is slowly being distributed to severely affected barangays. Pressure is expected to improve in the coming days as the reservoirs are continually refilled to enable water to reach highly elevated areas.
Manila Water is employing a revised water interruption scheme with more definite schedules, beginning today, March 14. With this, customers may experience from 6 to 21 hours of service interruption daily. However, when water is available in their taps, pressure may be lower than usual. This scheme, which covers the entire East Zone, may last for the next three months or until the rainy season sets in.
