The International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC) named Manila Water as Client of the Year at the annual FIDIC Contract User’s Conference and Awards held on 29 November 2023 at the Royal Hotel in London, England.

Manila Water shows significant enhancement in its Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) ratings, with notable improvements across both MSCI and Sustainalytics platforms. The company's overall increase in ratings is attributed to heightened ESG management, particularly in human capital and environmental management.

Manila Water has suspended its excavation activities and other road works in major thoroughfares within the East Zone of Metro Manila, in compliance with the recent government resolution requiring the said action. Despite this, Manila Water assures its customers that water service will remain 24/7, as activities related to the installation of new water service connections and the conduct of emergency leak repairs are exempted in the said memorandum.

Manila Water Foundation led activities in the celebration of World Toilet Day (WTD) with the theme: "Accelerating Change”. MWF, the social development arm of Manila Water adds: Accelerate Change. Sanitasyon, Lahat Aksyon!" A World Toilet Day Sanitation Fair attended by Special Science students and parents was held at F. Ma. Guerrero Elementary School in Paco, Manila in partnership with the City of Manila LGU, Department of Education Schools Division Office of Manila and private sector partners, joining hands to promote proper sanitation for good health.

For the month of December, Manila Water’s monthly desludging caravan will go around sixty-nine (69) barangays in the East Zone concession area to provide siphoning services at no additional cost.
