Our constantly growing population results in increasing water demand. In order to sustain water necessities and prevent water shortages from happening in the future, the MWSS RO is in the process of evaluating the feasibility of two (2) proposed alternative water source projects: the East Bay Water Supply Project and AMA Bulk Water Supply Project.

To keep our stakeholders well-informed and involved in the said projects, the MWSS RO will conduct a Virtual Public Consultation in three (3) separate sessions for the East Zone concession. The aim of this activity is to explain and clarify the plans for the water supply projects; discuss the possible effects of these projects on customers’ water rates; and directly address the concerns and issues of affected customers.

In line with this, the MWSS RO cordially invites stakeholders and Manila Water Company, Inc. customers from the Province of Rizal to participate in the first session of the MWSS RO Virtual Public Consultation on the Possible Tariff Impact of the East Bay Water Supply Project and the AMA Bulk Water Supply Project on 05 October 2020 at 9:00AM via the Zoom video conferencing platform.
