SERVICE ADVISORY: Water service interruption affecting 20 barangays in Quezon City from October 13 to October 14

In line with the construction of the Manila Metro Rail Transit (MRT) Line 7, Manila Water will be closing a valve on a major transmission line to allow the cutting and deactivation of its 300mm cast iron pipe along Commonwealth Avenue corner Masaya Street, Barangay Old Capitol Site, Quezon City. This will result to temporary water service interruption affecting over 176,000 population in 44,056 households, commercial and business establishments in 20 barangays in Quezon City, beginning Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 11:00 PM until 7:00 AM, Sunday, October 14, 2018.

Ramon Magsaysay Botocan
Alicia Central
Santo Cristo Malaya
Bagong Pag-Asa Pinyahan
Old Capitol Site Sikatuna Village
Vasra San Vicente
Project 6 Teachers Village East
Culiat Teachers Village West
Bahay Toro UP Village
Tandang Sora Pasong Tamo

Manila Water is advising residents of the said barangays to store enough water to supply their needs during the interruption period.

Please note that the deactivation of this pipe will have no effect on the water supply in the affected barangays after the activity.
