ADVISORY: Low water pressure to no water in more than 26,000 households in San Mateo and Rodriguez, Rizal and Marikina City

In view of the declining water level at La Mesa Dam, Manila Water will undertake PHASE 2 of TRANSFER OF WATER SUPPLY FROM EAST LA MESA TREATMENT PLANT TO THE SOUTHEAST MAINLINE, originally scheduled on the evening of May 17, beginning Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 10:00 PM. This activity may result to LOW WATER PRESSURE to NO WATER, especially during peak demand hours of 8:00 AM to 12:00 NN, affecting more than 26,000 households in several barangays in San Mateo, Rizal and one barangay each in Rodriguez, Rizal and Marikina City.

Affected barangays are as follows:

San Mateo, Rizal Rodriguez, Rizal Marikina City

Dulong Bayan 1    
Dulong Bayan 2    
Guitnangbayan 1    
Guitnangbayan 2

Manila Water is advising residents of the said barangays to store enough water during non-peak demand hours to supply their needs during the peak demand period.
