Clark Water, DOTr Php 48M project underway

Clark Water relocates water and wastewater assets to support the Malolos-Clark Railway Project.

Clark Water Corporation (Clark Water), in coordination with the Department of Transportation (DOTr), has undertaken the relocation of its water supply and wastewater assets that will be affected by the construction of the Malolos-Clark Railway, which is part of the North-South Commuter Railway (NSCR) Project.

Under the signed agreement with the government agency, Clark Water is tasked to realign its distribution facilities, that include 1.2 kilometers of water supply pipelines plus one kilometer of sewer lines and relocate one deepwell facility and other infrastructure operated by the company to accommodate the construction of the transportation development.

Last year, DOTr commenced the construction of the Malolos-Clark Railway as part of the 163-kilometer North-South Commuter Railway (NSCR) that will connect New Clark City and the Clark International Airport in Pampanga to Manila and Calamba City by year 2025.The government agency shall take on the cost for the transfer of water and wastewater assets amounting to more than Php 48 million.

To date, Clark Water has accomplished more than 50 percent of the required works and targets to attain full completion by October of this year.

Clark Water is the water supply and wastewater service provider of the Clark Freeport Zone and Clark Economic Zone.
