Manila Water Philippine Ventures (MWPV) reached out to the Provincial Government of Pangasinan (PGP) to explore the revival of the botched concession agreement. PGP and the consortium of MWPV remain open to explore partnership on water supply for the province even after the concession agreement has been deemed mutually terminated at the close of 2023. This presents an opportunity to revisit the conditions precedent of the old contract and renew partnership for the benefit of Pangasinenses.

The Provincial Government of Pangasinan (PGP) with the consortium of Manila Water Company (MWC), Inc. and its wholly owned subsidiary Manila Water Philippine Ventures, Inc. (MWPV) signed the Concession Agreement and held the groundbreaking ceremony for the 25-year Bulk Water Supply Project that will bring an additional 200 million liters of water per day (MLD) to Pangasinan.

The Provincial Government of Pangasinan (PGP) presented the Notice of Award for the development, financing, construction, operation and maintenance of a bulk water facility within the Province of Pangasinan under a Concession Agreement to the consortium of Manila Water Company, Inc. and its wholly owned subsidiary Manila Water Philippine Ventures, Inc.

Manila Water, through its fully owned subsidiary Manila Water Philippine Ventures, has been granted the franchise to provide water supply services in the Municipality of Manaoag in Pangasinan.

Following its recent foray in Calasiao and San Fabian, both in the province of Pangasinan, Manila Water Philippine Ventures, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Manila Water Company, Inc., continues to expand its presence in the province as it recently signed and executed a Joint Venture Agreement with Tubig Pilipinas Group, Inc. (TPGI) for a water supply project that will benefit the municipality of Malasiqui.
