Manila Water continues to bring essential sanitation services to its customers in the East Zone highlighted by monthly desludging caravan which offers household septic tank siphoning at no additional cost.

Manila Water Foundation (MWF) and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) signed a Memorandum of Understanding for an important partnership for the Filipino children.  On September 14, MWF President and Manila Water CEO and President Jocot de Dios and DSWD Secretary Rex Gatchalian formalized the start of the synergy of support to highlight the importance of water access, sanitation and hygiene in communities to prevent stunting among children: an irreversible condition which affects not just physical growth but cognition and brain development. In the same event, DSWD signed an MOU with Gawad Kalinga to tap their communities of volunteers.  

Standing as a vanguard for the environment critical to life now and in the future, Manila Water once again armed itself with gloves, sacks, and boots to join this year’s International Coastal Cleanup (ICC) Day, held nationwide on September 16.

Manila Water recently commemorated the strengthening of its partnership with the Local Government of Antipolo City, along with the Department of Natural Resources (DENR), in a simple ceremony held at the Hinulugang Taktak Nature & Adventure Park.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Manila Water Company, Inc. (“Manila Water”), concessionaire of Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System (“MWSS”) providing water and sewerage services to the East Zone service area of Metro Manila and the Province of Rizal, has submitted an Application for Extension of its March 31, 2021 Revised Concession Agreement with the MWSS (“RCA”). The application seeks the extension of the expiration date of the RCA from July 31, 2037 to July 31, 2047, to coincide with the term of Manila Water’s 25-year legislative franchise.
