With the Antipolo Water Supply Project almost complete, water has been made available to more than 100,000 households in Antipolo, Rizal including vital service institutions such as health centers.

Manila Water has kicked off the water and sanitation improvement program for health centers at the San Roque Health Center in Antipolo City in coordination with the Department of Health (DOH), Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System (MWSS) and the Antipolo City Health Department. Dubbed as “Lingap Health Center”, the program is an offshoot of the Lingap Hospital Program with the objective of providing safe potable and affordable water supply to primary care centers, commonly patronized by the city’s urban poor. Initially benefiting the residents of Barangay San Roque, the program will be replicated in the different health centers of the various barangays in Antipolo City.
Part of the program involves the installation of a drinking fountain which will now also be a regular sampling point for water quality.
