Manila Water’s wastewater operators receive honors from LLDA

The Laguna Lake Development Authority (LLDA) recently gave recognition to various companies who have achieved the good performance rating in terms of compliance with LLDA’s Environmental Standards and Regulatory Requirements for 2006 under the Public Disclosure Program for Industries – Laguna de Bay Region.

Among those honored with a Blue Rating are Manila Water’s three wastewater treatment facilities including Maharlika, Valle Verde and Bagong Lipunan under the management of Reynaldo Uy, Sid Valdez and Fernando Malicdin, respectively. The awarding ceremonies were attended by Malicdin, as well as Sewage Treatment Plant Operations Head Mark Mulingbayan and Taguig Cluster Operatives Juan Bartolay and Isagani Ocampo.
