Manila Water wins in 5th Annual MAP Best Annual Report Awards

Manila Water copped the 2nd Best Annual Report Award and the Best Visual Presentation in the recently concluded 5th Annual MAP Best Annual Report Awards held at the Hotel Inter-Continental Manila.

The awards were given to outstanding annual reports of companies listed in the Philippine Stock Exchange following stringent criteria on compliance and disclosure, corporate governance and user-friendliness.

Twenty finalists were chosen from 71 entries. Manila Water won 2nd runner-up honors for the second year in a row with sister company Globe Telecom garnering the 1st runner-up award and Macronesia getting the top plum. Ayala Corporation, along with SM Corporation, shared the special award for conglomerates whose 3 or more companies made it to the 20 finalists. Globe Telecom also won the Best Corporate Governance Disclosure for Non-Financial Institutions while PSBank won a similar award for financial institutions.
