Manila Water is one of the very few companies that has perfectly aligned its corporate social responsibility commitments with its business goals. This the premier water and wastewater service provider has done by providing the basic infrastructure services in institutions generally patronized by the urban such as schools and now government hospitals.

Offering a ceremonial toast during the project inauguration are (from left to right) Dr. Eluminado Victoria, Provincial Health Officer, Ms. Perla Diamante, Chief of Hospital, Ms. Loida Dino, Manila Water Antipolo Area Business Manager, Antipolo Councilor Bobot Marquez, Board Member Dr. Jenato Bernardo representing Gov. Ynares and Manila Water Business Group Director Rene D. Almendras.

Just recently, Manila Water has completed the rehabilitation of the water facilities of three hospitals namely: Antipolo District Hospital, Baras Hospital and Ynares Municipal Hospital in Jalajala, all located in Rizal Province. The program dubbed as Lingap Ospital provides for the rehabilitation of existing water facilities and the installation of drinking fountains which eventually will serve as water quality testing points to ensure the potability of the water. It is expected that the patients and their families will lessen their dependence on bottled water as water drawn from these hospitals are safe to use and drink.

Manila Water has started the program in 2004 with most hospitals in Metro Manila. It has now expanded its coverage to hospitals in the Rizal Province.
