Independent Auditor and Remuneration

The principal accountant and external auditor of the Company is the accounting firm of SyCip, Gorres, Velayo and Company (SGV and Co.), a member practice of Ernest and Young Global. SGV and Co. is the Philippines’ largest professional services firm providing integrated solutions in assurance, tax and risk services. SGV and Co. offers audit, tax and transaction advisory services and serves as trusted business advisors to leading corporations.


The audit fee of SGV and Co. for 2008 is P2.0 million, exclusive of VAT and out-of-pocket expenses. The agreement with SGV and Co. covers both the annual and semi-annual audit of the Company.
