Cadetship Training Program

Manila Water’s Cadetship Training Program is a developmental program designed to instruct and hone the future leaders of the company.

The program consists of two phases: the first provides participants with specialized training and work experience for six months, building excellence in technical, business and management skills; while the second part involves career management that develops the success of trainees who perform well, advancing their careers and supervising their ongoing education.

Who are we looking for?

The following may qualify for this program:

  • Graduates of Business and Engineering courses, preferably in the following fields of specialization: Marketing, Finance and Civil, Mechanical, Sanitary, Environmental, Chemical and Industrial Engineering as well as Computer Science;
  • Individuals who are 21-25 years old;
  • Individuals who have strong leadership and communication skills; and
  • Individuals who possess the ability to assume multiple roles.

Almost 200 and counting

Since its inception in 1999, the Cadetship Training Program has seen 182 graduates, 86 of which are already part of the management team, 37 being full-fledged managers. The organization takes pride in the fact that its graduates are professionals guided by the values of excellence, accountability, team orientation, social responsibility and integrity.

The cadets' opportunities are not limited to their current line of work. Their development in the organization is well-planned and is managed through a series of follow-through training, involvement in various corporate programs and cross posting.

To this day, Manila Water continues to enroll cadets into the program, giving trainees the opportunity to join the company in securing a sustainable future for Filipinos.
