Part of Manila Water’s success story is the development of its human capital.

The leadership pipeline development spans the entry level, mid-manager and senior manager levels. Employees are given opportunities to advance their skill sets and curricula are in place to address specific competencies.
To strengthen our technical advantage, expertise is enhanced through programs such as the Asset Management School, Operations Management School, Program Management School, Project Delivery Management School, and Finance Academy for Managerial Excellence (FAME).

The first line of management is addressed through the Cadetship Training Program and the Management Development Training Program. Participants in these programs develop a strong alignment to Manila Water’s business, culture, and values.

Select talents go through the Leadership Institute for Manila Water Employees (LIFE) where they learn how to lead people and drive results through collaborative relationships.

The Business Zone Leadership School and Advanced Management Development Program develop talents from within the organization who are being groomed to assume a higher position.

To support our commitment of seamless business continuity, Manila Water also has the Succession Management and Coaching/Mentoring programs to ensure that technical expertise and leadership excellence are preserved. All these Talent Management and Leadership Development initiatives aim to serve the customers, honor our commitment to the stakeholders and ensure 24/7 water services.
